My Passions for the Future. Bringing Liberation and Hope.

My passions for the future. Bringing Liberation and Hope.

Hello. As promised I am making a blog based around WHY I wanna pursue what I want to pursue and what sparked my interests to begin with.

Let’s go…

When I announced I was pursuing CGA i briefly also mentioned I wanted to pursue stepping into ending Sex Trafficking, and other horrible Trafficking types. I posted this boldly and I posted this without explaining WHY.

When I was in high school I had to do a project on sex trafficking. I researched for months and found a lot of information I was appalled by. Deep down inside I felt a spark of wanting to end it. As months went by and my future changed, I started to pursue the World Race. I knew the World Race often worked with sex trafficking victims and even sometimes rescues victims as ministry.

I began praying everyday to have a ministry that worked with sex trafficking victims in some way.

As the race came and my months went by I felt this spark start to ignite some more… even when I wasn’t working in those types of situations. I kept praying though. I never let that spark run dry.

Halfway into my race we went to Malawi. I was assigned to be an English teacher for 2 months to a one room school class. Our days were ever changing and my heart was filled to the brim. As our first week went by ever so slowly… I realized we were living in a house connected to a girls home of rescued girls. They came from all different kinds of backgrounds and situations. Some were trafficked, some were abused, and some simply needed a place to stay… all of them needed jesus. The girls on my team immediately jumped into action and we did Beauty For Ashes with these girls (a girls bible study that is geared around redemption, forgiveness, and healing). We would hangout with them and love on them. As their smiles grew and their trust heightened… I realized that Jesus had fulfilled his spark.

I then looked back on my month in Zimbabwe where my team at the time also did a Beauty For Ashes event for ladies in the community and how he SHOWED UP.

As my race came and went and all the amazing things came and went and all the miracles came and went… I found myself back home. When I came home I was confused as to where to go.

What now?

Where to next?

A few weeks after being home… all the squads met back up at Project Searchlight for a debrief. In this week the lord spoke over me through two other girls that he isn’t finished with my dream yet.

I went into a prophetic room with two other girls and they spoke boldly to not let that vision die. To rise up and bring the hope I want to share to women and children all over the world. To follow that passion boldly and follow wherever it leads me. To be crazy and pursue something so often people shy away from. To be obedient to the Lord.

So here I go… I’m going to CGA to learn how to navigate this passion and lead my goals and desires. I will go abroad and rescue if that’s what the Lord wants. I will stay state side and preach if that’s what the Lord wants. I will commute and start an organization if that’s what the Lord wants. I will follow the Lord. He has pressed this into me and I will follow him.

YES. Let’s go!

Follow him.
